Has Anyone Seen Our Bails?
All of the bails have gone missing, as far as we know they are not particularly valuable for any other purpose than being on top of cricket stumps, however someone appears to have a particular fancy for them. We had to “borrow” some from the opposition for today’s U17 game. There safe return would be appreciated, although the budget for the reward will need to be spent on a replacement set, so gratitude will have to suffice.

I’m glad I don’t play for St. Georges…
… that’s obvious, you might say. After reading this, I was particularly glad.

A quick note…
Regular visitors will note that the previous ‘’Banter’ post is no longer available to view. Those of you who read it will no doubt understand why. If you hadn’t seen it, there was plenty of abuse directed at various SMCC members, current and past.
It turns out three people were behind the alias “Redge”. The two responsible for most of the postings were Jamie Johnson (ex Marston Green 1st XI Skipper), and Nick Meek (also of Marston Green). I’m sure anyone who has any comments to make about what they wrote about you or the club can contact them for further explanation.
The third member plays for Coleshill. I’m sure he’ll be looking forward to SMCC’s vist on 18th June in the Sunday League.
That’s enough about that anyway.
