About the SMCC Blog
Sheldon Marlborough CC has a long established website, available at smcc.co.uk and sheldonmarlborough.co.uk. Over the past six years, the site has settled into its present form, driven by a database which holds the season’s fixtures, results, player performances, avaerages and some other stuff too.
Various message boards have been used throughout the site’s history, but problems with the forum software security led to it being shut down. This ‘blog’ is a new attempt to provide a new channel for club news and views, with members being able to register to leave comments, and site administrators having an area separate to the central admin system which can be opened up to a wider range of contributors if required.
