A quick note…
Regular visitors will note that the previous ‘’Banter’ post is no longer available to view. Those of you who read it will no doubt understand why. If you hadn’t seen it, there was plenty of abuse directed at various SMCC members, current and past.
It turns out three people were behind the alias “Redge”. The two responsible for most of the postings were Jamie Johnson (ex Marston Green 1st XI Skipper), and Nick Meek (also of Marston Green). I’m sure anyone who has any comments to make about what they wrote about you or the club can contact them for further explanation.
The third member plays for Coleshill. I’m sure he’ll be looking forward to SMCC’s vist on 18th June in the Sunday League.
That’s enough about that anyway.

I have advised all of you in the past that you should “play nicely”. The blog, as with the previous message board,is meant to be a bit of harmless fun - witness the former “Alien” good fun - but no agenda. Those in the minority who use this type of media to vent misplaced grievances need to get a life - or seriously consider their motives. Seek the dictionary definition for sport and you will not go far wrong - be kind to one another and think before you press the button.

You might want to speak to Fillongley’s ‘web-master’ who allows postings which include the phrase “…..chasing the chavs and the lucky tossers from Sheldon Marlborough”
It was on their website reports link under Thriller at Camp Hill but seems to have been removed this evening!!
I managed to print off a selection of the text if anyone is interested….
….so anyway Fillongley 2nd X1, try not to choke next year in Division 1 eh?
